Slow your day down with hybrid style Restorative Yoga. This class will include poses down close to the ground; like seated forward folds, hip openers, supine twists, and supported backbends. Great for all ages & body types.
All poses are held for 3-5 minutes per side and are taught with a variety of props to support the weight of the body. Benefits may alleviate pain, and improve your over- all well being. The practice of holding a pose for an extended period teaches you to sit with and observe emotions, thoughts, or physical sensations as they arise.
Felicia has been practicing yoga for over 13 years. She is from Modesto, California and moved to Arizona nine years ago. She is currently a certified yoga instructor and is enrolled in 800 hours in the Advanced Yoga Teacher and Healing Arts Practitioner program at Southwest Institute of Healing Arts in Tempe, Arizona. She is looking forward to empowering those who are ready to do the “inner work”. She provides a safe space and encourages those who are looking to grow within a healing community
