Fifth and final session of larger Basic Computer Skills Certificate.
This session will provide students with an introduction to using computer applications for making presentation slides. The session will focus on basic software tools, function and navigation, visual graphic and data representation, how to organize visual information, add text and graphic elements.
This class is designed for individuals with limited knowledge or experience using presentation slide software. This class will use open sourced applications like Google Documents and Google Slides. These skills are transferable to other spreadsheet software/applications.
Completion of this section will give students confidence in operating a computer. A digital badge equivalent to 2 contact hours will be applied to student profiles towards the completion of the Basic Computer Skills Certificate. This class is non-credit.
